On Tuesday, in a surprise decision, D.C. District Court Judge Emmet Sullivan issued an order indicating that would accept “amicus curiae,” or “friend of the court” submissions, in the case of Michael Flynn, the former national security adviser.
Sullivan specifically said he anticipates that “individuals and organizations” will file briefs “for the benefit of the court.” Sullivan has a reputation for punishing DOJ overreach, including during the case against then-Alaska Republican Sen. Ted Stevens.
VOTERS ARE WATCHING A KANGAROO COURT
This action by the District Court Judge continues to show just how much a kangaroo court this whole fiasco was. I can’t believe some of these so-called judges are on the bench. A judge is supposed to be impartial and non-political. It would seem the Barack Obama White House stacked the courts with morons that received their law degrees from a candy machine.

Typical liberal judge. This one was appointed by Bill Clinton instead of Obama but, the same story. Everything has to be turned into a circus. This friend of the court nonsense. This is just an opportunity for the judge’s liberal buddies to put on a show.

Do you remember when Judge Sullivan was prepared to sentence Gen. Flynn before the release of the suppressed exculpatory evidence?
SULLIVAN IS JUST WASTING TIME
Ultimately, the right thing will happen, and this will be vacated. Judge Sullivan can be part of the solution or try and throw up roadblocks, which will eventually be removed. He has shown that he is not a jurist to respect based on his intemperate remarks during the hearings alone, which could have resulted in a mistrial.
He seems to play games with the public at this point. Sullivan should just release his ruling now and allow any party that disagrees with appealing it to a higher court. The eventual outcome of this case is no longer in his hands anyway, if need be President Trump will pardon him.

THIS WON’T HELP DEMS IN NOVEMBER
If the liberal news media and Democrats think they have this coming election in the bag, they have some sad days coming. If they think they can steal the election, they better pray the lights never go out. The people are tired of their crooked ways.
This judge just made it obvious that he is presiding over a political event and not a fair trial. He wants the liberals to get a few more media shots at Trump’s cabinet member. This very same judge dismissed a case a few years ago when Obama’s Attorney General Eric Holder requested a case be dropped because of ‘prosecutor misconduct.’ And yet Obama recently said this is unprecedented when the precedent was actually by his AG.
