It Would Be ‘Proper and Very Nice’ to Know on Nov. 3 Who Wins the Election: Trump

President Donald Trump said Tuesday that it would be favorable to know election results by the end of Election Day and that he didn’t think it was within U.S. laws to be counting ballots for weeks after the election. “It would be very, very proper and very nice if a winner were declared on November 3 instead of counting ballots for two weeks which is totally inappropriate and I don’t believe that that’s by our laws,” the president told reporters prior to taking a campaign trip to Michigan, Wisconsin, and Nebraska. Trump also predicted a stimulus deal after the election, and said that he believes Republicans would take back the House of Representatives.
