Weeks after pleading guilty to her role in the college admissions scandal and taking a deal that would put her in prison for two months, actress Lori Loughlin is reportedly terrified that she will catch COVID-19 during her time behind bars.

A source told US Weekly that the 55 year-old former “Fuller House” actress is “scared to death of catching COVID-19, as the virus is ravaging the federal prisons in California.”

Though Loughlin has taken the deal and “expressed remorse” for her actions, a judge still needs to officially decide how much time she will spend in prison, and her sentence will officially be announced in August.

“She’s met with the official who’s preparing her sentencing report, which the judge will use for guidance as to how long she’ll serve,” the insider explained.

Loughlin and her husband Mossimo Giannulli plead guilty last month to charges related to them paying $500,000 in bribe money to have their two daughters admitted to the University of Southern California as members of the crew team, even though neither girl had ever rowed before. The couple spent over a year fighting the charges and claiming that they were innocent before they

Under her deal, Loughlin would get two months in prison, a $150,000 fine and two years of supervised release with 100 hours of community service. Meanwhile, Giannulli agreed to serve five months, pay $250,000 and do 250 hours of community service.

A source had previously said that Loughlin and Giannulli are hoping to serve their sentences at different times so that one parent can always be free to provide “emotional support” to their daughters, both of whom are adult women in their 20s.

“Lori and Moss don’t want to serve their prison sentences at the same time. Among the reasons, even though their daughters are adults, Lori wants one parent to be free to provide emotional support to the girls,” a source said. “Lori’s concern all along has been Isabella and Olivia Jade.”

Earlier this month, another insider revealed that Loughlin “would love to return to TV” at some point in the future. This source described her as an “eternal optimist,” who “eventually, [wants to] tell her side of the story.”
