A royal expert is speaking out this week to say that the future of Meghan Markle and Prince Harry is “completely unpredictable” as their charity Archewell is struggling to get “off the ground.”
Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams told The Express that Meghan and Harry will still keep going with their charity work despite the lack of success.
“There are so many rumours at the moment about how and why William and Harry fell out,” Fitzwilliams said. “Rumors about the relations between Meghan Markle and Kate and what actually happened in the past years. It is very difficult to say what is going to happen.”
“You have a completely unpredictable situation,” he added. “Obviously there are the deals that they have made with Netflix, Spotify, Harry with some posts he will be taking up and obviously they have Lilibet.”
“What they decide to do, to enlarge their bland, Archewell hasn’t really managed to get off the ground because of the pandemic,” Fitzwilliams continued.”It will be a matter of seeing the causes Meghan and Harry aspire to, we know the ones they are most keen on.”
“Things like diversity, gender equality, the environment, mental health and how this develops. here is no doubt they are going to do more charitable work but precisely in what way,” the royal expert stated. “It is absolutely impossible to predict because anything could happen. I mean some form of healing could see reconciliation soon or it could take a long time or it might not happen.”
Meghan and Harry moved to the United States last year after stepping down as senior royals, and they have since settled in the ritzy area of Montecito, California. There, they have signed lucrative multi-million dollar deals to create content for Netflix and Spotify.
Harry has also been hired by the mental health coaching company BetterUp as a chief impact officer, expected to earn him many more millions of dollars.
This comes after royal expert Lee Cohen said that he doesn’t think Americans care about Harry and Meghan’s royal titles anymore.
“[America] already recognizes Meghan as the American princess and she always will be, notwithstanding if her title is taken away,” he explained. “Even if those titles are someday removed, in America, they don’t hold any official status anyway. Their only value is promotional and, deserved or not, that has already been achieved.”
