It’s no secret that Piers Morgan has been left-leaning for all of his life. However, when on Tucker Carlson’s show last night, he was pretty critical of the media’s silence on the Hunter Biden laptop scandal. The New York Post is still locked out of their Twitter account after releasing the bombshell story. Facebook and Twitter are still stopping the spread due to supposed ‘unconfirmed sources’ and ‘hacking.’
Piers brought up that it had been six days (at the time of his interview) since the initial story’s launch. “Clearly there is something there that they want to hide,” Piers said. He went on to say that part of a Journalist’s job is to go out and investigate the story. So why is no one touching this? Why are other media organizations leaving the New York Post out to dry?
I think the media is still licking their wounds due to Hillary Clinton’s loss in 2016. While her email scandal wasn’t talked about as much as it should have been, the media reported it a lot more than it is in the current situation. If they were to report on the news, therefore exposing Joe Biden’s corruption, it would probably damage Biden’s chances of winning. And they can’t have that, can they? God forbid they did their jobs fairly. The mainstream media is the PR wing of the DNC, and it’s time they admitted it.
It’s funny that Twitter suddenly cares about the ‘permission’ of a particular source’s release. Did they care if President Trump’s tax returns were released fairly? No. Do they ever manage to demand the names of the ‘anonymous’ sources The New York Times is always using? Of course not. “Imagine if we switched the names around. Imagine if the story was about Donald Trump Jr. and Donald Trump. What would be happening?” Piers asked. This was a great point.
We all know what would be happening! This would be front-page news. This would be allowed to circulate with no problem, no questions asked. If lefty Piers Morgan is raising a red flag, more people ought to be paying attention.
