The CEO of the U.S. Agency for Global Media (USAGM), Michael Pack, said Voice of America (VOA) and it’s sister media are working hard to provide unbiased news in the current polarized world. “Because the rest of the media has become very polarized—they’re on one side or the other—there isn’t a lot of objective, unbiased news. But on the other hand, it’s very hard for my agency to fulfill its goal.” Pack told The Epoch Times’ “American Thought Leaders” on Dec. 3. “It’s part of the media environment, it shares the partisan-ness of the media, currently, so I’ve learned from my six months here, that it’s very hard to get an organization to deliver objective balanced news.” Pack added. Pack was appointed CEO of the government agency by President Donald Trump six months ago to correct its media’s gradual departure from its mission.
