Protesters were filmed burning an American flag as well as a blue a pro-police ‘thin blue line’ flag as they shouted “blue lives splatter.”
Around 200 demonstrators marched through the city on Sunday, with some individuals smashing windows and applying graffiti on buildings. A bank, a restaurant, and a Starbucks coffee shop were among the businesses targeted, the Portland Police said in a statement. No arrests were made, but the acts of vandalism are under investigation.
It seems local residents including blacks had enough from the ongoing riots.
A black man has been filmed railing against a group of protesters in Portland, Oregon, and yelling about how they were not from the city.
Protests have taken place in the city for more than three months since the death of George Floyd, a Black man, in Minneapolis police custody in May.
The demonstrations had stopped for a week because of smoke from the wildfires that are ravaging the West Coast but resumed on Friday.
A video posted on Twitter on Sunday night appeared to show a Black man, who implied he was local, accuse some protesters of not being from the city—something one of the group denied.
The man is seen getting out of his vehicle and directing a profanity-laden tirade at the protesters in the clip, which has been viewed more than 100,000 times.

It’s the cameras man vape pen, you can hear him take a hit and his you can see his shadow he stairs up to the sky and let out the smoke from the pen you can see that as well in his shadow on the ground. Just weird that all that smoke went straight to the dude’s face.
In any case, this is what everyone should be doing in their own neighborhood!! Run them out!! Bravo young man!
