The British public was told by royal experts this week to “starve” Meghan Markle and Prince Harry of the attention that they are allegedly seeking.

“The British public recognise attention seeking when they see it,” said royal expert Andrew Rosindell. “I hope that the response of the British public will be as it should: to simply ignore Harry and Meghan and starve them of the oxygen they seem to desperately seek.”

“What has happened with Prince Harry is a great sadness to the Queen and Royal Family as a whole. It is also very sad for the country that he has chosen the path that he has chosen,” he added. “It was only three years ago when he had that wonderful wedding but then in less than two years have effectively resigned from the Royal Family is a great shame.”

“Maybe him coming back for Prince Philip’s funeral will have reminded him what he has given up,” Rosindell continued. “But the country has moved on now – they do think of him as part of the Royal Family, but they don’t think of him as having a role anymore.”

This comes after a friend of Prince William’s told Mail on Sunday that the royal is both disappointed and “greatly concerned” by Harry’s latest attacks on the royal family that he made in his mental health docuseries “The Me You Can’t See.”

In the docuseries, which he made with Oprah Winfrey, Harry claimed that the royal family showed “total neglect” for his mental health woes. He also alleged that his father Prince Charles wanted him to “suffer” and didn’t “make it right” for him after his mother’s death in 1997. Harry said the he phased an “element of shame” when he opened up about his struggles.

“As parents, as siblings, certainly from what I’ve learned, there’s an element of shame we feel because we’re like, ‘How could we not have seen it?’” Harry said. “But we all know when people are suffering and people are struggling that we’re all incredibly good at covering it up.”

The source said that Harry’s family have “concerns” about what he may say next. The insider added that Harry’s relationship with William and the rest of the family is “hanging by a thread.”
