Gov. Kim Reynolds, Rep. Tlaib to Respond to Biden State of the Union

The GOP has unveiled that Kim Reynolds, the relatively unknown governor of Iowa, will deliver the Republican response to President Joe Biden’s upcoming State of the Union address while Rep. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) will deliver a left-wing progressive response for the Working Families party. Biden is scheduled to give his annual State of the Union address to Congress on March 1. On Tuesday, after much speculation about who the GOP would pick to give the response, Republicans chose Kim Reynolds, who has until this point had fairly little attention on the national stage.
