Rosie O’Donnell is at it again—proving once more that Hollywood elites can’t help themselves when it comes to attacking Trump supporters, even in the wake of tragedy.
Following the horrific Catholic school shooting in Minnesota, O’Donnell rushed to social media with a video blaming MAGA and “white supremacists” for the bloodshed. The only problem? The facts quickly blew her narrative to pieces. The shooter wasn’t a Trump voter, wasn’t MAGA, and wasn’t even the “angry white man” she was trying to paint.
Now, after being called out, Rosie released what she calls an “apology” video. But if you listen closely, her apology is almost worse than the initial smear. Instead of admitting her hatred blinded her, she doubles down with excuses, self-pity, and a tone that screams she still thinks MAGA is the problem in America.
Video below:
This is the same tired script we’ve seen for years. Liberals rush to blame conservatives, Christians, or Trump supporters before the facts are even known. When they’re caught red-handed spreading lies, they never truly own up — they just put out half-hearted “I’m sorry, but…” statements to save face.
Meanwhile, the families in Minnesota are still grieving, and once again, the left used their pain as a political weapon. Rosie’s latest rant shows she learned nothing. She’s not apologizing to MAGA — she’s apologizing that she got caught lying.
The truth is simple: Trump supporters are not the threat. Unhinged leftist radicals are. And Rosie O’Donnell just gave us another perfect example of how desperate the left is to spin every tragedy into an attack on MAGA.
What’s my reply to Rosie? “Your apology is as fake as your first claim. Next time, wait for facts before smearing millions of patriotic Americans. MAGA doesn’t owe you forgiveness—you owe us the truth.”
Mark Van der Veen offers some of the most analytical and insightful writings on politics. He regularly opines on the motives and political calculations of politicians and candidates, and whether or not their strategy will work. Van der Veen offers a contrast to many on this list by sticking mainly to a fact-based style of writing that is generally combative with opposing ideologies.
