Staffers for Jim Jordan Have Independently Verified Hunter Biden Emails, Congressman Says

Staff members for Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) have independently authenticated emails from a laptop allegedly belonging to Hunter Biden, the son of Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden. Jordan announced the development on a Trump campaign conference call with reporters on Oct. 20. A source on the House Judiciary Committee confirmed that Jordan’s staff authenticated the emails, but would not offer further detail. “Our staff has had numerous conversations which have independently confirmed for us that in fact these emails are real, they’re authentic,” Jordan told reporters. “We’re confident that that is in fact the case, and that these emails are accurate.” The authenticity of the emails has been the subject of controversy since The New York Post published its first story on the files.
