For two COVID years, the Left has been obsessed with “The Science.” But really, they only ever cared about the science that supported their COVID narrative. That was evident when they dismissed and discredited all the science that either didn’t overtly support or even refuted their COVID narrative. The science wasn’t what mattered. It was the narrative.
Well, in the last couple of weeks, they’ve again shown that the actual science isn’t what matters to them. It’s still the narrative, even if it isn’t the COVID narrative. Now it’s the transgender narrative.
First, The Babylon Bee satire site was suspended from Twitter for jokingly naming biological male Rachel Levine as their company’s “Man of the Year,” in response to USA Today naming biological male Rachel Levine as on of their company’s “Women of the Year.” The tweet was deemed “hateful content” and the account was locked. Because even though the science says that a biological male is biologically a male, it’s apparently hateful to point that out. Because the science doesn’t matter here. Only the narrative.
Satire site @TheBabylonBee was locked out of its Twitter account after tweeting it had named US Assist. Sec. for Health Rachel Levine as “Man of the Year.” Levine is a male to female transsexual who was named by USA Today as one of its “women of the year.”https://t.co/szUQMHtuN2

Then, Virginia Tech swimmer Reka Gyorgy penned and posted a scathing indictment of biological male athletes who compete with biological females and steal their hard-earned spots on the podiums.
WOW: Virginia Tech swimmer Reka Gyorgy says her finals spot was stolen from her by Lia Thomas because of “the @NCAA‘s decision to let someone who is not a biological female to compete.” pic.twitter.com/vrtEfqZ0LW

Virginia Tech swimmer Reka Gyorgy has released a full statement on the NCAA allowing Lia Thomas to compete in the 500 freestyle. She was 17th in the event.
“Every event that transgender athletes participated in was one spot taken away from biological females throughout the meet” pic.twitter.com/Z0J9lUY3pN

She concisely stated that her “finals spot was stolen by Lia Thomas, who is a biological male.” The tweet was deemed “hateful conduct” and her account was suspended. Because even though the science says that a biological male is a biological male, and that biological males have a distinct physiological advantage over biological females, it’s apparently hateful to point that out. Because the science doesn’t matter here. Only the narrative.

Additionally, independent reporter and podcaster Savanah Hernandez was suspended from Twitter following viral news coverage of her controversial interviews with NCAA athletes who competed with transgender swimmer Lia Thomas. Her content was shared by numerous influential people, including being featured on Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Woah why is Savanah Hernandez suspended? She was interviewing female athletes at the NCAA championships speaking out about biological men competing against them. Twitter censorship in overdrive. pic.twitter.com/EfXfMAFHnd

Apparently, interviewing biologically female athletes who are upset about competing against a biologically male athlete, and then having the interviews go viral is “hateful content.” Because even though the science says that a biological male is a biological male, and that biological males have a distinct physiological advantage over biological females, it’s apparently hateful to point that out. Because the science doesn’t matter here. Only the narrative.
And then Charlie Kirk was suspended for giving an entirely factual rundown of the life and biology of Rachel Levine.
Charlie Kirk has been suspended by Twitter for referring to a transgender male as someone who “spent 54 years living as a man”https://t.co/EnQnqMGjZh

Looks like @charliekirk11 was suspended by Twitter for what seems like an accurate assessment of the timeline and then asking a legitimate question…. pic.twitter.com/eyUxu4mQ0Y
— Dave Rubin (@RubinReport) March 22, 2022
He very factually and concisely listed the familial history and biological sex of Levine, who was born biologically male and who remains so to this day, but who now identifies as a woman named Rachel, and who was named one of USA Today’s “Women of the Year.” Every single thing he said was factually accurate. But the tweet was deemed “hateful content” and his account was locked. Because even though the science says that a biological male is biologically a male, it’s apparently hateful to point that out. Because the science doesn’t matter here. Only the narrative.
And let’s not forget about Representatives Marjory Taylor Greene and Jim Banks, who have both been suspended for referring to the transgender and biologically male Rachel Levine as a “man.” Oh, and Texas AG Ken Paxton, whose similarly offending tweets were covered with a notice of hateful content, but whose account was not suspended. Yet.
People. The truth is not “hateful content.” But Big Tech has become the Ministry of Truth, and thus is dictating what is allowed to be considered truth. As George Orwell wrote, “The Ministry of Truth has three slogans: ‘War is Peace,’ ‘Freedom is Slavery,’ and ‘Ignorance is Strength.’”
I guess we can add “Man is Woman” to that list.
