This Video From DeSantis Is One For The Ages – Finally Someone Is Protecting Kids

Governor Ron DeSantis of Florida dropped the hammer on liberals with the release of a new video about parent’s rights.

This video comes just days after he signed an anti-grooming bill into law, which has triggered liberals everywhere.

The new law prevents teachers in Pre-K through third-grade from educating young kids on sexual and gender ideology without parent involvement. This impacts children who are about eight years old or younger. The law is meant to provide more power to parents and more accountability to educators.

However, this is an absolute horror for liberals who apparently want young children taught about sexual and gender issues without parent involvement. Leftists are mocking the bill by falsely labeling it the “Don’t Say Gay Bill.”

“Florida’s parents aren’t backing down,” DeSantis wrote to Twitter. “I’m not backing down.” Watch the video:

Despite the fact DeSantis’ anti-grooming law has received the majority support of Florida’s legislature, companies such as Disney have been outraged over the new law.

Disney CEO Bob Chapek reportedly requested a phone call with DeSantis, which was granted. But things didn’t end well for Disney.

Chapek reportedly parroted left-wing talking points about “don’t say gay,” which DeSantis immediately shot down. Such language isn’t actually included in the bill.

In response, DeSantis blasted Disney for pushing the “false media narrative” of the Left. The governor says he is open to having conversations with Disney or others in Florida as long as concerns are “grounded in facts.”

Since most parents with common sense support the bill, it passed through the Florida legislature and landed on DeSantis’ desk. He signed it.

Here’s Disney’s response following the signing of the bill into law:

Again, the Left continues to falsely label the bill “Don’t Say Gay.”

Liberals falsely suggest that those who support the bill are failing to “stand up for the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ members.” This also isn’t true.

These are red herrings because the bill has nothing to do with the rights and safety of LGBTQ+ people. The bill is focused on parent’s right to be involved in discussions about sex and gender if their child is about eight years old or younger.

Disney was blasted on social media. Take a look:

“My goodness,” one person responded. “Do I get to raise my kindergartner as I see if or no?! Stop trying to indoctrinate my kids into some gender-focused political diatribe. I send my kids to school to learn not to be recruited.”

Another person asked, “Are you also dedicated to standing for the rights of parents and the safety of children?”

One person asked Disney, “Why do you want to teach 5 year olds about sex?”

“Should be thought by parents not schools,” another person responded.
