Yesterday, we reported that former Vice President Joe Biden was receiving medical attention after twisting his ankle on Saturday. Now, President Trump has broken his silence about the situation.

Trump Sends Well-Wishes To Biden

Trump took to Twitter on Sunday night to urge Biden to “get well soon” alongside a video of the Democrat leaving an orthopedic office in Deleware.

Biden’s office had claimed that the former Vice President “slipped while playing with his dog Major, and twisted his ankle” at his home in Delaware.

Dr. Kevin O’Connor, the director of executive medicine of George Washington Medical Faculty Associates, said that Biden had “sustained a sprain of his right foot” but transported Biden to a different medical facility for a CT scan.

The CT scans confirmed that Biden had indeed fractured his foot.

“Initial x-rays did not show any obvious fracture, but his clinical exam warranted more detailed imaging,” O’Connor wrote, going on to say that the CT scan “confirmed hairline (small) fractures of President-elect Biden’s lateral and intermediate cuneiform bones, which are in the mid-foot.”

“It is anticipated that he will likely require a walking boot for several weeks,” O’Connor concluded.

Biden Will Be The Oldest President If He’s Inaugurated

At 78 years of age, Biden would be the oldest president to actually be inaugurated for the first time if he takes office in January. Concerns have been raised about his health throughout this campaign, and this ankle sprain will certainly do nothing to ease fears about how physically fragile Biden may or not be at his advanced age.

Though various media outlets have declared Biden to be the winner of the 2020 presidential election, President Trump has refused to concede and has instead pledged to take his legal challenges of the election results all the way to the Supreme Court, if it comes to that. He has claimed that these legal challenges will expose major voter fraud, though it remains to be seen if that will actually happen.
