Numerous left-wing Twitter employees have suffered meltdowns over Elon Musk, but this one might take the cake.
Twitter engineering manager Jay Holler went on a tirade on the social media platform, according to The Post Millennial.
At one point, he says Musk’s new appointment to Twitter’s Board has “radicalized” and “broken” him.
Holler has deleted his tirade after it received heavy media attention on multiple outlets.
Held in a space called “Rage Out,” Holler and co-host Ian Brown said Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal “sucks.”
“For the first time, @Twitter leadership includes someone I had proactively Blocked on this platform,” Holler tweeted.
Holler also posted a thread of articles attempting to attack Musk and his companies.
Articles falsely attacked Musk as a “misogynist,” “sadistic,” and “transphobe.”
Holler also tweeted a piece titled “The Coming Collapse of Elon Musk” earlier in March.
He apparently agrees with the author who wrote the public has “started to question the carefully constructed narrative that Elon Musk is an innovative genius, the green messiah that will help us save the planet, and, if that fails, colonize Mars.”
“How does a man who harasses whistleblowers, abuses most laws, rules, and regulations, supposedly has employees spied on, and advocates for a greener future while creating a huge carbon footprint become the most prominent, richest person on the planet? This is a question we’ll ask ourselves when the Musk bubble bursts, but the reality is we already know the answer,” the substack said.
“Crony capitalism combined with ultra-cheap monetary conditions has enabled Dr. Evil-type figures to pursue their wildest fantasies, all while figuratively mooning the authorities on their own front lawn. The list of Musk’s shenanigans is endless. It’s the Elonwashing era,” it added.
Musk promises “significant improvements” will be made soon as the left-wing platform has failed miserably to adhere to the basic principle of free speech.
It’s easy to see why the Left is outraged: They openly support censorship and oppose free speech.
Even Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has admitted the company is “not to be bound by the First Amendment,” adding that free speech is de-prioritized in favor of ensuring “a healthier public conversation.”
Cassie Nick Rumbaugh, a data scientist at Twitter, is among the employees and contractors who are very upset. Rumbaugh calls Musk a “prominent transphobe,” and says his investment into Twitter “is not at all funny.”
“Looks like I picked a good week to be off,” Geri Kidd responded, who works as a recruiting manager for Twitter.
Gerard Taylor, a senior software engineer at Twitter, is also unhappy with Musk and concerned about the left-wing “company culture.”
Here’s a look at more examples from journalist Andy Ngô:
