Sources say Twitter chief legal officer and general counsel Vijaya Gadde repeatedly cried during a virtual meeting with her team following news the Twitter’s board reached an agreement to accept Elon Musk’s offer to buy the company.

“Three people familiar with the meeting” told Politico that Gadde cries at times. She was reportedly paid $17 million by Twitter in 2021.

Gadde has become widely known as the “chief censor” for her instrumental role in banning President Donald Trump and censoring the Hunter Biden laptop story, which possibly cost Trump the election. Gadde was reportedly paid $17 million by Twitter

“I’d cry too if I knew my $17-million-per-year salary was about to come to an end,” Elizabeth Stauffer of Western Journal comments.

Insiders revealed that Musk has big plans for Twitter, which includes firing 1,000 employees. Musk has publicly criticized Gadde following a discussion between her and conservative journalist Tim Pool on “The Joe Rogan Experience.”

Musk shared an image shared on Twitter that mocks Gadde’s approach to free speech on the social platform.

The company has been widely condemned by critics who say they unfairly censor and shadow-ban users, which prevents the platform from allowing for free speech. For example, according to a report from media outlet Quillette, 21 out of 22 high-profile bannings during a calendar year were all against “only on one side of the cultural debate.”

Musk posted the following flowchart below about how Gadde and Twitter operate. Here’s how it works:

Musk pokes fun at how Gadde talks in circles to defend the platform’s left-wing bias.

Journalist Tim Pool asked Gadde, “So your platform restricts speech?”

“Our platform promotes speech unless people violate our rules,” Gadde replied.

“In a specific direction,” Pool added.

“In any direction,” she responded. “It’s about a pattern and practice of violating our rules.”

Pool set the record straight by explaining: “You have a pattern and practice of banning only one faction of people.”

In addition to Gadde, Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal has expressed alarming views that the social platform isn’t bound by the First Amendment.

In 2010, Agrawal also said that there should be no need to “distinguish between white people and racists.”

“If they are not gonna make a distinction between muslims and extremists, then why should I distinguish between white people and racists,” tweeted Agrawal, in quotes.

It was later revealed that Agrawal was quoting a comedian named Asif Mandvi from “The Daily Show,” but it still raises serious questions about Agrawal’s views.

In a post on Instagram, Donald Trump Jr. also noted that Agrawal holds radical views. “Twitter’s new CEO folks,” Trump Jr. wrote, adding “no bias there at all.”
