What Prince William Said To Harry After Philip’s Funeral Is Revealed By Lip Readers

After the funeral of Prince Philip on Saturday, his grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry were seen talking to one another. Now, lip readers are speaking out to reveal what they were saying.

“Yes, it was great, wasn’t it,” William reportedly told Harry after the funeral service, according to lip readers who spoke to the U.K. newspaper Daily Express.

“It was as he wanted it,” Harry is said to have replied.

The lip readers said that William was later seen telling Harry, “Absolutely beautiful service, ah, the music.”

All eyes were on William and Harry during the funeral, as the brothers have had a rift in their relationship as of late. The rift only worsened after Harry’s explosive tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey last month, which enraged his older brother. While it was said that Harry experienced some “frostiness” during the funeral, royal experts seemed to feel that it went well, for the most part.

“It’s often said funerals are a time for reconciliation and that’s a scene a lot of people wanted to see, not least the family itself,” said ITN’s Tom Bradby.

“They were talking,” added commentator Eve Pollard. “They were possibly overcome by emotion. They were talking — and that’s got to be a very good sign. Let’s hope that they sort their recent troubles out because the Queen needs them both,”

Sources told The Sun that after the funeral, William and Harry spoke with their father Prince Charles for two hours at Windsor Castle. The talks reportedly went so well that Harry may stay for Queen Elizabeth’s 95th birthday, which is coming up on Wednesday.

Harry has also confirmed that he will be coming back to the United Kingdom this summer for the unveiling of a memorial statue of his late mother Princess Diana at Windsor Castle. Royal insiders are hoping that this ceremony will bring Harry and William even closer.

“It’s early days but you’d hope this is exactly the first step Philip would have wished for,” a source said.

Royal biographer Penny Junor gave further details about the talk that William, Harry, and Charles had.

“This was minutes after the funeral and they were all grieving in their own ways,” she said. “There might have been some greetings. And even that is a positive start.

“There is a lot to be unravelled here. This is a falling-out that has gone on for a long time. They need the time, space and the trust,” Junor added. “Harry should stay for the Queen’s birthday as it is the least he can do for his grandmother and it gives him even more opportunity to talk to his father and his brother.”
