Billionaire Mark Cuban Refuses to Rule Out Entering the 2020 Race: ‘You Just Don’t Know What Could Happen’

As most of our readers know, I am a Texas girl and I love my Texas sports. Specifically, I love my Dallas, Texas, sports.

I am a big fan of Mark Cuban. He revitalized our Mavericks franchise and brought so many opportunities and jobs to the city of Dallas.

His politics, on the other hand, frequently send me on a roller coaster of emotion. He is not Trump’s biggest fan. He has complimented Trump during this time of crisis but has decided he is not ruling out running for President.

Mark Cuban went on Chris Wallace’s show on Fox over the weekend. Wallace asked Cuban if he was still planning to run as an independent.

Wallace points out that if he wants to run as an independent, Cuban is quickly running out of time. In some states, the deadline to run as an independent has passed, and the deadline is fast approaching in other states.

Mark Cuban explains that there are ways around those deadlines, but he is not seriously planning a presidential run. Cuban said he would never have thought about running until about a month ago, and he is not actively running, but he is keeping the door open.

Between the unique circumstances we find our country in politically, coupled with the coronavirus bizarro land that we now live in, we shouldn’t rule anyone out for a presidential run.

Politically if you do not like Trump, but you know Joe Biden is a buffoon, you have no recourse. No one with any traction can stop those two primary political machines from moving on.

However, if Mark Cuban were to run as an independent, it could strip more votes away from the Democratic Party. The opponents in the 2020 presidential race are far from set. This is going to be a VERY interesting 2020, that I know for sure.
