Chilling Warning Sent to Active Duty and Retired Naval Intelligence Members — Says They Cannot ‘Disrespect’ Biden

Joe Biden cannot be “disrespected” by U.S. military personnel.

In an email from the Office of Naval Intelligence (ONI) Chief of Staff, members were reminded that per a Uniform Code of Military Justice and Department of Defense Directive clause they cannot disrespect senior government leadership.

This includes the President, Vice President, Congress, the Secretary of Defense, and more.

This applies to active duty and retired naval intelligence members, the report says.

Even for civilians, the email from ONI says “you are reminded of the danger that your public comments will/could be attributed to ONI or the Department of Defense.”

“While you are entitled to your opinion and to share your opinion amongst those you know and trust, being too vocal in criticism of, say, the President or members of the military and civilian leadership may reflect poorly on ONI.”

Essentially, the U.S. military is telling everyone not to criticize Joe Biden because everyone knows he deserves impeachment and he should “resign in disgrace,” as former President Donald Trump noted.

Despite this warning, our military is not remaining silent.

Marine Lt. Col. Stuart Scheller was relieved of duty after he demanded military leadership show some accountability.

Scheller spoke out despite knowing it might have the consequence of him being relieved.

He said that “The baby boomers’ turn is over. I demand accountability, at all levels. If we don’t get it, I’m bringing it.”

Scheller noted that he will be resigning his commission at 17 years, which is short of his 20 years for retirement. This would eliminate his pension and benefits.

86 retired generals and admirals have demanded the resignation of top military personnel in a letter. A “fundamental principle in the military is holding those in charge responsible and accountable for their actions or inactions,” the letter states.

We have also seen the mother and father of multiple Gold Star families speak out against Biden after 13 U.S. service members were killed by a suicide bomber.

Kathy McCollum, the Gold Star mother of fallen 20-year old Marine Rylee McCollum, said Joe Biden is “a feckless, dementia-ridden piece of crap” who “sent my son to die.”

Craig Gross, the Gold Star father of U.S. Army Cpl. Frank Robert Gross, told Biden “please quit blaming this on the former president” and “you are culpable.” Gross added, “You alone.”

Here’s what the email said to active duty members via Daily Wire:

Given the heightened political and social atmosphere surrounding Afghanistan, it is important to remind our uniformed personnel (active duty and reservists on temporary active duty) and military retirees of their responsibilities and obligations under Article 88 of the Uniform Code of Military Justice and Department of Defense Directive 1344.10. While it is vital to protect the constitutional right of freedom of expression for these groups, consistent with mission accomplishment, national security, and good order and discipline, it’s important to remember certain limitations. Namely, uniformed personnel and military retirees are prohibited from disrespecting senior government leadership (e.g. the President, Vice President, Congress, Secretary of Defense, Service Secretaries, etc.).

Per the same uniformed personnel policy, ONI members cannot participate in partisan political activity or distribute partisan political literature. An internal ONI member told The Daily Wire that these policies were more relaxed under the Trump administration and recalled retired officers condemning the former President.

The email continues to claim that the policy extends to ONI “civilians” as well. These members were specifically directed to avoid “being too vocal in criticism of, say, the President.”
