Since Covid, most meetings have gone electronic. Ever been on a Zoom meeting? People make all kinds of noise and forget to go on mute. People try to talk and forget to unmute. Some people wear sweatpants and slippers that can’t be seen on the video… until they forget and they stand up.
But sometimes things get extra crazy!
Well, Jeffery Toobin, a staff writer for the New Yorker and a legal analyst for CNN was just suspended from his New Yorker gig after he masturbated on a Zoom call. Yikes! Hopefully he doesn’t pull a Steve Scully and say that he was “hacked.”
Interestingly, this isn’t the first time he’s gotten in some trouble. In 2010, Toobin was accused of whispering “vile” things into a woman’s ear, following her, and leaving several “sick” messages. Hopefully he will use the time off to deal with these “personal issues.”
