Muslim Republicans Demand Change In American Demographics

In the race for Arizona’s 4th Congressional District, a number of Republicans are attempting to unseat Democratic incumbent Rep. Greg Stanton. However, Zuhdi Jasser is ineligible for office due to his past support of the migrant invasion of the United States and his refusal to boycott President Trump when serving as an RNC delegate.

Devoted to Islam, Jasser founded the American Islamic Forum for Democracy. He has gathered a list of supporters for his candidacy, most of whom are conservatives or establishment Republicans who have previously opposed Trump. These individuals include talk radio host Glenn Beck, former governor of Arizona Jan Brewer, former senator Jon Kyl, talk radio host Hugh Hewitt, and former senator Rick Santorum. Charlie Kirk, the founder of Turning Point USA, gave notable MAGA support to Jasser. In an interview with Jasser for his podcast, Kirk referred to Jasser as “honest, modest, and ethical” and said that he was “all in” on the campaign.

However, Jasser’s past demonstrates that, when it comes to prioritizing America, he is everything but “honest, humble, and ethical.”

As a legitimately elected delegate from Arizona to the Republican National Convention in 2016, Jasser declined to attend and back Donald Trump’s presidential candidacy. He cited Trump’s hostility toward multiculturalism as the reason he was not going to endorse his campaign.

“We have a candidate who is above reproach. Despite lacking a proven track record of adhering to conservative principles, he has thrived through deceptive political tactics. He has prospered from using populism and nativism as demagogues. In 2016, Jasser stated, “That is not conservatism.”

Jasser’s attitude prompted former Arizona State Treasurer Jeff DeWitt to beg him to step down, but Jasser refused to step down and continued to resist Trump, making it more difficult for him to win in 2016.

Additionally, Jasser has been a national spokesperson for the United States’ need to take in more refugees. In a USA Today piece, she dubbed 2015 the “year of the refugee” and urged the country to allow more foreigners into the country in order to accelerate the country’s demographic decline. Her sources included Syria, Iraq, and Burma.

Together with Eric P. Schwartz, a former Obama administration official, Jasser wrote the piece. In 2009, Obama designated Schwartz as the Assistant Secretary of State for Migration, Population, and Refugees. Presently, Schwartz serves as President of Refugees International, a group that advocates for the relocation of third-world refugees to Western nations. The official website of Refugees International lists George Soros as a Director Emeriti.

In their paper, Jasser and Schwartz argued that America should welcome a large influx of migrants from war-torn areas where there is a strong anti-American sentiment. They accomplished this by utilizing UN data.

The essay calls on the United States to admit “at least 125,000” refugees annually and adds that “the United States and other countries must respond effectively and generously in dealing with the humanitarian imperatives that come from refugee flight.” In order to let refugees into the nation as soon as possible, Jasser also urged that the vetting process be accelerated and that refugees get more benefits.

“The Department of Homeland Security and other pertinent federal agencies should also get funds and people from Washington to assist with background checks, expedite application processing, and end protracted delays,” the paper says.

“And the administration needs to request more funding from Congress for the Department of Health and Human Services, which assists states in offering social assistance to newly arrived immigrants.” Lastly, they continued that the administration needs to inspire other nations to take more action.

Jasser’s distaste for President Trump is evident in the absence of any mention of him on his congressional page, even though he has somewhat changed his position on refugees.

“Migrants who experience persecution or a real fear of persecution because of their race, religion, nationality, membership in a certain social group, or political opinion are the only ones eligible to file a legal asylum claim.” I am aware of this, as my own parents applied for asylum and left Syria precisely for that reason. However, there is widespread misuse of that claim, which our federal government encourages. According to Jasser’s eight-point immigration reform plan, “courts are overburdened, and migrants who apply for asylum are being granted notices to appear and then let into the country.”

“An effective piece of legislation would mandate that those seeking asylum submit an application and have their claim examined before entering the nation. Individuals traversing through nations with asylum laws would be required to present documentation demonstrating their rejection of asylum requests in each of those nations. In order to start the asylum application process, those who enter the country illegally and later want to apply for asylum must return over the border into the closest nation housing a U.S. Embassy, he said.

During a recent discussion among candidates, Jasser expressed his stance on continuing foreign aid to Ukraine and the US proxy war against Russia. He also defended the practice of foreign aid in general.

Gateway Pundit pointed out that Jerone Davison, a former NFL running back, is the only contender in the 4th Congressional District campaign that has a strong America First platform and has repeatedly opposed financing for Ukraine. In the era of MAGA, Jasser just does not measure up to the standards expected of a Republican elected official.
