This week on “America Reports” on the Fox News Channel, Representative Cory Mills (R-FL) talked about helping 32 Americans leave Israel. He said that it was “the second occasion of doing the Biden administration’s job because they don’t have a plan of action, they have no strategy for how to get those Americans out that have been trapped, and all of these church groups which have been left behind.”
Mills stated, “I walked in and was extremely grateful to be able to support the Biden administration, which has not done its job, for the second time, just to mention. Previously, in 2021, I successfully carried out the first-ever land rescue of Americans. Now, I am carrying out the Biden administration’s duties for a second time, as they lack a plan and strategy to free the trapped Americans as well as the church groups that were left behind.”
He also said, “I had worked with one of these ministers in this church group and with a few lonely people who were stuck in these locations. There were several times they tried to get on planes, but their plans were delayed. They felt trapped as the violence around them grew, and they were simply searching for a solution or a way out. When some of them contacted the State Department, they didn’t get very much help. That’s why I felt like I had to step in and attempt to figure out something at that point. The government sometimes fails to decide what it means to be an American. I believe the American spirit is still strong, and I believe that these individuals were looking for someone to stand up and help. I hope that their returning home now or having gone somewhere safe has provided them hope that Americans will not be left behind and that at the very least people like us who have been elected are going to do what’s right when it is necessary.”
