Before we get started here, let me just offer my disclaimer that this piece is a libertarian rant from me, Rachel Hoffman, and does not necessarily reflect the views of any of the other Chicks.
I would like to formally address every Republican that’s whinging about the Commission on Presidential Debates being unfair, showing bias, or targeting certain candidates:
BOO. FREAKING. HOO.
Where you have been for the past 30 years of third party candidates being purposefully and systematically excluded from the debates?
I’d like to particularly call out Senator Bob Dole, who was lamenting the failure of the “supposedly bipartisan” CPD, and Governor Gary Johnson’s on-the-nose response.
Bipartisan? Funny, their lawyers told me they were Nonpartisan.

Yeah, remember 2016? When Gary Johnson looked like he might be qualified to be on the debate stage, so the CPD changed the rules to exclude him? Where were Republicans and Democrats when third party voices were being targeted and stifled?
Oh, that’s right. It was politically expedient for them.
I agree that the CPD and the media are blatantly biased against Donald Trump. But I do not want to hear this grand rhetoric condemning exclusion from the people who failed to utter a peep when the ones being excluded didn’t have the correct letter after their name.
If we’re going to fix the CPD, let’s fix it for everyone.
