Kamala Puts Israel In Her Sights

Vice President Kamala Harris said this week that she would be willing to talk about imposing a weapons embargo on Israel in return for Michigan’s Muslim and Arab voters’ so-called “uncommitted” movement’s support.

According to The New York Times:

“Vice President Kamala Harris had a brief conversation with the Uncommitted National Movement’s founders prior to her rally in Detroit. This group encouraged tens of thousands of Michigan voters to abstain from voting for President Biden in the primary earlier this year due to his backing of Israel’s war in Gaza. Layla Elabed and Abbas Alawieh claimed they were in the queue greeting Governor Walz and Harris, and they told Harris that while they wanted to support her, the public wanted her to think about imposing a weapons embargo to put an immediate halt to the bloodshed in the besieged enclave.”

“Harris heard accounts from Michigan residents who lost hundreds of relatives in Gaza.” She introduced the two leaders to her staff and said she was willing to meet with them to discuss the embargo request.”

Pro-Palestinian demonstrators later heckled Harris after her remarks.

The demonstrators screamed, “Kamala, Kamala, you can’t hide,” while some of them wore Muslim headscarves. Voting for genocide is not something we will do.

Harris answered the hecklers twice: once to attempt to placate them by telling them their opinions were welcome in “democracy,” and again to chastise them and threaten to aid Trump in winning.

By selecting Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz (D) as her running partner instead of Pennsylvania Gov. Josh Shapiro, Harris sought to appease the anti-Semitic and anti-Israel factions of her party.

Shapiro is not only Jewish, but he also has a history of vocal support for Israel in the past, which he just slowly attempted to retract.

However, despite his sympathy for Israel, Walz has also endorsed Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who is antisemitic and anti-Israel.
