New Report Shows How Biden Reacted To Terror Warnings

Paul Froggatt

Senior intelligence officials flagged over 1,000 Afghan nationals with ties to ISIS and other terrorist organizations who had entered the United States.

They told the Biden administration. They warned him. They identified specific threats.

Biden ignored them.

And now the Trump administration is scrambling to re-vet nearly 1,000 Afghan nationals with terrorist connections who are living among us because the previous president prioritized “mass migration over security.”

This isn’t incompetence. This is dereliction of duty on a scale that got people killed.

The Warnings Biden Chose to Ignore

According to the report, intelligence officials flagged more than 1,000 Afghans with ties to the Islamic State and other terrorist organizations who entered the U.S. through Operation Allies Welcome — the program designed to resettle people who had aided American operations in Afghanistan.

That program was supposed to help interpreters, drivers, and others who risked their lives supporting U.S. forces. Instead, it became a pipeline for terrorists because Biden’s team couldn’t be bothered with proper vetting.

Officials raised concerns. They identified threats. They did their jobs.

The Biden administration “completely disregarded those warnings.”

The Vetting System Was Deliberately Suspended

This wasn’t an accident. This wasn’t an oversight. This was policy.

Former diplomat Simon Hankinson, now at the Heritage Foundation, explained what happened:

“The deliberate decision was taken to evacuate tens of thousands of Afghan nationals and their immediate relatives on the premise that the principal applicants had rendered significant service to the US government effort in Afghanistan.”

In the rush to evacuate, the administration decided it didn’t have “time or means” to ensure terrorists were being weeded out.

Translation: Getting people out fast was more important than making sure we weren’t importing the enemy.

The DHS inspector general later discovered that border agents lacked “critical data to properly screen, vet, or inspect the evacuees.” They didn’t have basic information like names and dates of birth. They didn’t have access to travel documents.

They were told to wave people through anyway.

The Bodies Are Piling Up

This isn’t theoretical. People are dead because of Biden’s decisions.

An Afghan national shouted “Allahu Akbar” as he gunned down two West Virginia National Guardsmen protecting the streets of Washington, D.C. Sarah Beckstrom is dead. Andrew Wolfe is seriously injured.

Days before that attack, another Afghan national was arrested in Texas after making terroristic threats on TikTok.

These aren’t isolated incidents. These are the predictable consequences of importing people without vetting them.

Biden was warned this would happen. He ignored the warnings. Americans are dead.

Tulsi Gabbard Is Cleaning Up the Mess

Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard confirmed what the Trump administration is now doing:

“We know that Al Qaeda and ISIS continue to actively plot attacks against our homeland.”

Her office is re-vetting nearly 1,000 Afghan nationals who’ve been identified as having ties to terrorist groups. They’re trying to find the threats Biden let in and neutralize them before more Americans die.

This is cleanup in Aisle Biden — except the spill is human lives and the mess is terrorists living in American communities.

The Trump administration inherited this disaster. They didn’t create it. They’re trying to fix it while Democrats and media allies pretend the problem doesn’t exist.

The Bondi Beach Reminder

Sunday’s terrorist attack in Australia — where a father-son duo reportedly pledged allegiance to ISIS before massacring Jews celebrating Hanukkah at Bondi Beach — underscores what’s at stake.

Western countries have spent years putting out the welcome mat for people from regions with active terrorist movements. They’ve prioritized diversity over security. They’ve called anyone who raised concerns a racist or Islamophobe.

And their citizens keep dying.

The U.S. isn’t immune. We have the same problem. We have Afghan nationals with confirmed terrorist ties living among us because the previous administration was more worried about optics than security.

Gabbard is right: Al Qaeda and ISIS are actively plotting attacks against our homeland. The question is whether we find the threats before they act.

“Critical Data” — What Border Agents Were Missing

The inspector general’s report is damning.

Border agents processing Afghan evacuees didn’t have:

  • Names (in many cases)
  • Dates of birth
  • Travel documents
  • Access to critical databases

They were told to process people anyway. Move them through. Don’t ask too many questions. The administration needed the numbers to look good.

So they let people in blind. They had no idea who they were admitting. They had no way to verify claims. They had no means to identify terrorists.

And Biden knew. His own intelligence officials told him what was happening. He chose to continue anyway.

“Mass Migration Over Security”

That phrase from the report tells the whole story.

Biden prioritized mass migration over security. He cared more about the number of Afghans evacuated than whether those Afghans posed threats to Americans.

It was a political calculation. The optics of a large evacuation looked better than the optics of a careful, slow vetting process. Never mind that the careful process might have kept terrorists out.

The media would praise the big numbers. The humanitarian community would applaud. And by the time terrorists started killing people, Biden would be out of office and it would be someone else’s problem.

That’s exactly what happened.

Over 1,000 Identified Threats — How Many More Unidentified?

Here’s the terrifying part.

The 1,000+ Afghans with terrorist ties who’ve been identified are just the ones intelligence caught. They’re the ones who appeared in databases, who had known connections, who left a trail.

How many came through with no trail? How many terrorists are living in America right now who haven’t been identified because there was no vetting, no documentation, no way to catch them?

We don’t know. We can’t know. Because Biden’s team didn’t do the work.

The re-vetting process might find some additional threats. But you can’t find what you can’t track. And you can’t track people who were never properly documented in the first place.

This Should Be a National Scandal

The President of the United States was warned that terrorists were entering the country. He ignored the warnings. Americans have died as a result.

That’s not a policy disagreement. That’s not a difference of opinion. That’s a catastrophic failure of the most basic duty any president has — protecting the American people.

Biden should have to answer for this. His officials who implemented this policy should have to answer for it. The people who waved potential terrorists into the country without documentation should have to answer for it.

Instead, Biden is shuffling around Delaware while the Trump administration cleans up his mess.

Sarah Beckstrom is dead. And the administration whose policies got her killed will face no consequences at all.

That’s the real scandal. And it’s one the media will never cover the way it deserves.
