His name is Randy Sprinkle.
Finance chairman of the Virginia Democratic Party. Former leader in the Young Democrats of Virginia. Campaign treasurer for Richmond City Council Vice President Katherine Jordan.
Now he’s sitting in a Virginia jail facing federal child pornography distribution charges.
The FBI didn’t stumble onto him. They caught him in a sting operation. And the details in the 9-page affidavit are as disturbing as anything you’ll read.
He Thought He Was Talking to a Fellow Predator
Sprinkle, 30, was using an app called “Jack’d” — which markets itself as “the premier social app for gay, bi, trans, and queer people.”
He made contact with someone he thought was a like-minded user. That someone was an undercover FBI agent working out of the Manassas field office.
The conversation moved to Telegram, where Sprinkle allegedly revealed his interests.
“Mostly into Yng, rape, incest you.”
Then he sent the agent a video of a young boy being sexually abused by a grown man.
That’s not alleged. That’s documented in the federal criminal complaint.
What the FBI Found on His Computer Will Turn Your Stomach
The FBI executed a search warrant on October 16, 2025.
According to the affidavit, agents “completed the extraction” of Sprinkle’s computer “and found two archived files constituting child pornography.”
One of those files — we’ll spare you most details — involved an infant.
An infant.
This is the finance chairman of a state Democratic Party. This is who was handling money for campaigns. This is who was networking with elected officials.
The Virginia Democrats Now Scrambling to Distance Themselves
Randy Sprinkle wasn’t some anonymous volunteer. He was connected.
Katherine Jordan, Richmond City Council Vice President, hired him as her 2024 campaign treasurer.
Her statement: “What has been alleged is disgusting and abhorrent. I’m shocked and sickened.”
Andrew Breton, First District Council member, also employed Sprinkle for campaign finance services.
His statement: “The allegations are shocking and disturbing.”
Rep. Jennifer McClellan (VA-04) reportedly appeared alongside Sprinkle in multiple social media photos.
Her spokesperson’s statement: “Congresswoman McClellan is shocked by these appalling accusations.”
Shocked. Sickened. Disturbing.
Everyone’s shocked now. Nobody noticed anything before.
So Much for the Party of “Protecting Children”
Democrats lecture Americans constantly about decency. About morality. About protecting children.
They claim the moral high ground on every issue. They accuse Republicans of being threats to democracy, to norms, to basic human values.
Meanwhile, their finance chairman in Virginia was allegedly distributing videos of infants being sexually abused.
This isn’t some random volunteer. This is leadership. This is someone trusted with party finances, campaign operations, and access to the political elite.
He Was Training the “Next Generation” of Democrats
Sprinkle wasn’t just involved in party finance. He was a leader in the Young Democrats of Virginia.
Young Democrats. The organization that’s supposed to train the next generation of Democratic leaders. The pipeline for future candidates and operatives.
This is who was mentoring young people in Virginia Democratic politics.
How many other events did he attend? How many young volunteers did he interact with? How many people trusted him because of his position?
Those questions will haunt Virginia Democrats for a long time.
Kash Patel’s FBI Is Doing the Work That Matters
Credit where due: The FBI caught him.
An undercover agent on a social app, working a sting operation, identified a predator and gathered enough evidence to make an arrest.
This is what FBI resources should be used for. Not investigating parents at school board meetings. Not surveilling traditional Catholics. Not pursuing political vendettas.
Catching child predators. Protecting children. Actual law enforcement.
Director Kash Patel’s FBI is doing the work that matters.
He’s Not Getting Out Anytime Soon
Sprinkle is currently being held at the Northern Neck Regional Jail in Warsaw, Virginia.
He faces federal child pornography distribution charges. Federal charges mean federal prison — real time, not the slap-on-the-wrist sentences some state courts impose.
Given what’s in that affidavit, he’s unlikely to see freedom for a very long time.
How Did Nobody Know?
Every Virginia Democrat who worked with Sprinkle should be asked: How did you vet him?
He held positions of trust. He handled campaign money. He had access to party operations. He networked with elected officials and candidates.
Did anyone run a background check? Did anyone notice warning signs? Did anyone ask questions about this 30-year-old climbing the party ladder?
Or did they just assume that because he was a Democrat, he must be one of the good guys?

The next time a Democrat lectures you about protecting children, remember Randy Sprinkle.
The next time they claim moral superiority, remember what the FBI found on his computer.
The next time they accuse Republicans of being threats to decency, remember who was running their party finances in Virginia.

That’s the Virginia Democratic Party. That’s who they elevated to leadership. That’s who they trusted with their operations.
Shocked and sickened? They should be.
But not nearly as sickened as the rest of us watching them pretend they didn’t know.
