Ivanka Trump, one of previous President Donald Trump’s daughters, has stated that she has no plans to return to politics.
“My father is someone I adore. This time, I’ve decided to prioritize my small children and also the private life we’re building as a family” she stated to Fox News Digital. “I have no desire to get involved in politics.”
“Although I will always support and love my father, I will do it outside of the political arena,” she told the outlet. “I am glad for the opportunity to serve the American people and will forever be proud of so many of our admin’s accomplishments.”
“I’m really proud of what I’ve been able to achieve,” Ivanka Trump stated. “I left everything on the field, and I’m not missing it.”
On Tuesday, the former president revealed his intention to run for president again. Donald Trump served as the president from early 2017 to early 2021 after beating Democrat Hillary Clinton in the 2016 presidential election — but he was defeated by Democrat Joe Biden in the 2020 election.
Ivanka Trump told Fox News Channel that she and her father are “very close. That has not changed and never will,” she said. “I’ve had numerous responsibilities throughout the years, but being a daughter is one of the most essential and important. I will always support and love my father, while remaining outside of the political arena,” she added.
“My priority is our small children and the private life we are building as a family,” she explained. “I’m loving spending time with my kids, love life in Miami, and the privacy and freedom that comes with returning to the private sector – it’s been one of the best moments of my life.”
